S.S León XIII escribió doce encíclicas referentes al rosario. Insistió en el rezo del rosario en familia, consagró el mes de octubre al rosario e insertó el título de "Reina del Santísimo Rosario" en la Letanía de la Virgen. Por todo esto mereció el título de "El Papa del Rosario"

SS Leo XIII wrote twelve encyclicals concerning the rosary. He insisted on praying the rosary in the family, consecrated the month of October to rosary and inserted the title "Queen of the Most Holy Rosary" in the Litany of the Virgin. For all this deserved the title "The Pope of the Rosary"
